G_B_ Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I think textiles and automobiles the are sectors India can really cash in on for made in India. Already many companies like Hyundai are exporting from India and eventually i feel the likes of Tata Motors will create brands to break through in Europe and the USA. Its also not just about exporting mind you. Something meeting domestic demand with domestic made in India is the best bet of them all. It makes you less reliant on export markets and thus stronger to upturns in global trade. Crucially it reduces Indian imports. I hope Modi ji does concentrate on the textiles sector in particular. For that to boom you need to ensure that labour laws are reformed and power sector is reformed to give electricity. India does produce the cotton. So why not produce the end product to export? Why is Indian cotton heading to the likes of Sri Lanka for final products?
mishra Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 ^ AAP had a rally today in which a poor farmer hanged himself to death. Ak as usual blamed police instead of simply stopping that farmer. Thousands of farmer die every year because our agriculture itself is in dire need of modernization. But thats talking common sense which is more interested to claim Modi was wearing louis vuitton shawl and then retract back that it was a mistake.
