Rkt, there is a reason why most good CG artist from India work with companies abroad and produce high end movies there and the reason is the people in India, the director especially suck at handling them and are barely dedicated to what they do. So don't give me that 'can't make a better movie' tripe. My brother is leaving India for this sole reason, India suck at making CG movies and they usually hire cheap stake artist to do their job. Here they hired SRK's company to do the VFX and they have done a pathethic job. Also, the 'Indian' standard is an excuse that is getting quiet old. Krish 3 was a terrible, terrible movie. Just another one of those lousy and crap 100c Bollywood flick.

To call that VFX good and the best in India is just dumb ignorance. Ra.One had far better VFX than this movie and its coming from a person who's spent 3 years in Bsc.Anim. Its looked like a live action Hritik placed in a Call Of Duty MW3 set. Even certain Hritik fans were ashamed of this flick. Watching the interview of those Red Chillie artist defines the whole VFX in this movie. May be here's where the 'By Indian Standard' pretex comes in place.

And cheap VFX has nothing to do with a writer and director or the money, it has to do with the people working behind it. How exactly does the quality of K3's cheap CG surrounding has to do with the writer and director? These guys are asked to do what the director wants, now how to execute is up to them. Check out some local Indian CG workers, they do better and more dedicated work than these guys and usually jump from India ASAP, because the VFX system here is getting better, yet pathetic to talented ones. Here, I agree the directors play a big part too. He should have rejected certain scenes if they weren't upto the mark, but they don't. Check out this game picture called- COD Modern Warfare 3, that's what reminded me when I watched K3's first trailer. And this game is known for its shyte engine and CG. My only objection is to stop with these Indian standard cliche statements. There are good artists in India working, who unfortunately can only come to the limelight under directors like these idiots. Another reason to hate K3, was Vivek Obroi's interview. Basically lose all respect I had for that retard!

Regarding your point of good artists, yes, there are good artists in every field in India, not just CGI, but issue with CGI is, these filmmakers work with companies. Until those, guys are attached with these companies which provide VFX. Those companies have their studios. Along with Red Chillies, Prime Focus India too did CGI for Krrish3 and Prime Focus has done VFX for some big Hollywood films including Avatar, transformers, X-men, etc., but those films have big budgets. They have also done CGI in most of the Indian films that require CGI. If same Red Chillies did better job of CGI in Ra.One according to you, then it certainly is director's fault to not able to get the best out of them. BTW, What did Vivek say in his interview?

Prolly the most annoying pre-movie interview. Vivek always exaggerates. They all do for promotion. Same thing was said about Ra.One and Arjun Rampal's role who barely had any presence in the film. Though Indian film characters are more loud than intense and they think the loudness means great acting and character. More superficial, never feel the intensity even in intense situations. IMO, even Joker's character of Heath Ledger is overrated.
