Rajiv Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Varun, I carry the Mumbai ego but for the few days I stayed in Delhi about 7 years ago, I liked it But, in reality, it boils down to your company and relatives, I can live in a beautiful place like Chandigarh too but I won't be happy I am suited to the "bol chal", mood and attitude of Mumbai. I felt out of place in Delhi, it never seemed my own. I can admire the trees, climate and broad roads but the bottom line of daily routine would never satisfy me. Mumbai has the oopmhh which rest of the cities lack
THX_1138 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 well at least two of the schools i went to are here: doon public school and apeejay saket, delhi. though i think some of the parameter ratings are utterly bogus. for instance "integretiy and honesty" and "quality of alumni"... how do you rate those? no mention of my high school: vasant valley, vasant kunj whereas **** schools such as ryan international (next to my delhi home) and tagore international feature here. this entire list is rather contentious, and if you dont believe me, look up the fortune magazine for july 2005. it mentions vasant valley as one of the best schools in india.

The Outsider Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 WTF!! 3 schools from Lucknow in the top 15 and all of them completely cr@p ones. All these three schools do is make their students study study and study. La Martiniere and St. Francis(my school) are the best in Lucknow and they don't feature anywhere in the list!!
