Breaking her silence over the Burdwan blast, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of playing communal politics to push out Bangladeshi immigrants from West Bengal. "The militants came here in 2007. Who was in power then? Not all Bangladeshi immigrants are terrorists. They are very much Indian citizens," she said. The West Bengal CM aslo said that they will not let the BJP succeed in displacing the migrants from the state. "The BJP had announced before the polls that they will push back all immigrants. We will never tolerate that. Bengal is a land for all faiths. That is our tradition so it shall remain," she said while appealing to people not to allow any kind of communal divide in the state. The BJP has been accusing the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal for harbouring terrorists and providing a safe haven for them to execute their terror attacks. Two Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh militants were killed in a blast at a TMC supporter's home in October. The case has revealed an extensive terror network in the area which raised questions against the TMC government.

These Bangladeshis supported formation of Pakistan in 1946-47.Killed many Hindus on Direct action Day and the Noakhali and Tippera riots that followed it,the riots were sponsored by Muslim league led govt. of Suhrawardy in Bengal.They wanted the entire Bengal in Pakistan. Finally the Hindus launched the Bengali Hindu Homeland Movement and Mountbatten formed the Mountbatten 3rd June plan,where the Bengal legislature was supposed to vote on whether Bengal will remain united and go to Pakistan or will it be divided and eastern part will join Pakistan and western part will remain with India. God bless Mountbatten's soul because he knew that Bengal legislature has Muslim league majority and hence the voting was to be done in 3 phases.And even if one phase returns the decision of partition of Bengal,then Partition will be done. 1.The entire legislature votes together.The majority voted to remain united and entire Bengal to be part of Pakistan. 2.The Muslim members voted separately.The majority voted for a united Bengal to be part of Pakistan. 3.The Hindu Members voted separately.The majority voted for a partition of Bengal and western part with India and eastern with Pakistan. Now these same Bangladeshis want to come to India,stay here,eat our food use our resources.Noway.Send them back to the scum country they wanted in 1947.Is it not enough that we freed them from their dear brothers of West Pakistan with whom they so dearly wanted to live in 1947.

You need to stop spreading lies. There has been many riots in WB riots in the past. Check 2013 Canning riots where Hindus were attacked. There are many anti-Hindu incidents/riots in WB or are they regarded as "secular"? In WB, there is a big persecution of Hindus. And it's unfortunately, our MSM keeps quiet on such things. It's a blatant communalism by MB and a free hand is given to radical Muslims for violence. BJP needs to come to power there to fix and make WB better.

Bengal will be another kashmir if nothing changed. There will a lots of turmoil in west bengal in near future. But you can blame anybody other than Bengali hindu for all bad management happening there.

There is a problem in WB, but people who think BJP will present a solution are dreaming. Amit shah will likely exploit the situation to help BJP come to power and knowing his ways in UP during the lok sabha, it will likely make the situation worse. Ideally he should be kept away from all border states.

Yep. There are several cases of separatism, intolerance being done in other parts of country. And it's all being done under the burqa of "secularism".

the minority will slowly shove the majority and push them out of the state and Bangladesh itself has lot of terrorist groups so our western padosis can take an advantage like they did in kashmir.Also wasnt their a blast at a trinamool mla house who making stuff to kill innocent people.

Minority is at the best 28%.Many of them limited to border areas.Some districts like Malda and Murshidabad were muslim majority in 1947 as well.Plus Bangladesh is no Pakistan it has no ISI to do all this and the Bangladeshis themselves are againist religious parties like the Jamaat. Having said all this.Serious action needs to be taken againist terror modules in West Bengal and illegal immigration needs to be stopped.

So you are a pro-illegal bangla immigrants. Sooner or later Modi will be working out to kick them out. Disappointed that BJP has not taken that guilty party of bomb blast to the task.

These apprehensions are to be instilled in people's mind so that atmosphere becomes communally charged and polarization happens. Even better if this communal charged atmosphere results in riots. Even more polarization and even better for BJP. I can see BJP becoming major political power in Bengal in coming elections
