Not much of a change at the GABBA (fraction more bounce though), but the SCG won't turn as much as you think. Basically the soil at the SCG is from the GABBA makers. The reason is the SCG pitch has cracked way too quickly, the GABBA is the best pitch in Australia and it gives Aus the best chance of success. I should know I work at the SCG. It will turn, but it will be more on days 4-5 than anything, you will get bounce though and good big turning bowling will get turn...but don't expect a bunsen burner on days 1-2.

adi B Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 after long time we have picked the perfect fast bowlers for an away tour. shouldnt waste a spot on spinner,might play one in sydney but aussies will lay pretty much green,bouncy pitch. kohli should go with 4 pacers and 6 batsmen.nohit/raina,vijay can fill in for few overs to maintain the over rate.ideally this should be the side: dhawan vj chepu(will have a torrid tour i believe) kohli rahane nohit saha bhuvi pishant umesh aaron
