Lord Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Umesh should learn from Jadeja' date='Rohit,Ishant how to be in the good books of Dhoni[/quote'] hes looking long term.Dhoni will be gone after WC.Then Virat for 10 years :woot:
Crookbond Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014  hes saying that he feels more comfortable with Kohli,he feels more reserved with Dhoni, not Dhoni is harder to approach Said this multiple times ITT but sunega kaun?!
vijay50 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Someone edit the topic yaar. :D Its ok. The impact of the statement is more with the word "first".
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 However, Yadav also remained cautious against getting carried away. "I'm not looking to bowl super-fast - I know people expect me to hit the 150kph mark, something I did the last time I went to Australia. I'll be happy hitting 140 to 145 kph if my bowling line is good and if I don't leak too many runs. I'll be aggressive but not wayward," he said. "It took a while for my mind-set to change. I went back to my coaches and other mentors and worked on my control. Australia is a place where you have to bang it in because you get pace and bounce, but I also want to get my swing under control," he signed off. #inb4 he turns into another 130-135 kph bowler.
rkt.india Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 His strength is pace. Should not compromise for accuracy.
Scarface Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Maybe Yadav knew something was up :fishing:
TheWall Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 His strength is pace. Should not compromise for accuracy. but that doesn't mean.. don't take wkts and give aways runs..... sometimes should use his brain...
Ironhide Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 but that doesn't mean.. don't take wkts and give aways runs..... sometimes should use his brain... Who is not taking wickets? oh the bowler who was the 3rd highest wicket taker in the 2015 World Cup: http://www.icc-cricket.com/cricket-world-cup/stats/2015/player/most-wickets Or the bowler who tops the chart for the Indian team in last one year: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;filter=advanced;orderby=wickets;spanmin1=15+Jun+2014;spanval1=span;team=6;template=results;type=bowling

rkt.india Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 but that doesn't mean.. don't take wkts and give aways runs..... sometimes should use his brain... arey bhai...drop in pace wont automatically make him accurate. both these things are not mutual to each other. Slow pace does not mean suddenly make you accurate.
zep1706 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 looked very bad against BD though... So after a successful year he is not allowed to look bad for one small series? If we go by that logic Dhoni should not be anywhere near the team. He has not looked good in more than a year.
asterix Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 First Kohli is more approachable as a captain than Dhoni - Umesh yadav looked very bad against BD though... Brainless bowling. However we won't know how well he bowls unless he plays under any other captain in ODIs and gets a decent run, gets proper bowling spells backed by attacking fielding positions. If I'm not wrong, Dhobi never opens bowling with him and doesn't gives him proper spells... The hate for him by Dhobi is so blatantly obvious on the field. I think Kohli can help him a lot as a Vice Captain too. Just go to him and tell not to get intimidated by Dhobi fecker.., Dhobi will be a goner in 8-9 months...

Pagalpanti Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Kohli failed as well but is anyone talking about his form? Not that it should be a talking point, but the point is Indian team as a whole looked scratchy. Except Ashwin I don't think anyone seemed close to being their full self. To single out Yadav after he's had such a great time these past few months, how does the team management expect the pacer to flourish. He has an axe hanging on his head at all times. And we wonder why there is no fast bowling culture in India...
