:hatsoff: Dinda is back with the bang, enjoyed his bowling in the Devdhar trophy, Consistently bowling 140K got lot of movement and plenty of wickets too, Credit to him and Manoj Tiwari both guided East zone to victory, things I like about him is 100% efforts and no complaint attitude, selector what out for him, Mohammad Shami he is after your position.

At this moment all fast bowlers is doing well in Indian team (thanks to Dhoni not around) but Shami seems to have faded away after bowling a lot last year also Dinda and Shami are similar type of bowlers that is the reason I had when I say he can target Shami's place.

Vivek Rajdan and other commentators were praising Dinda's attitude on field. He is ready to bowl as many overs as is asked of him. Has bowled 20 overs on the trot more than once. He always bowls with effort. That is a quality I appreciate and look for in any bowler. He is just short of international class though. Not by much ... but can only be in the team if top 3/4 pacers are unfit ... not otherwise. Bumrah looks like the next international quality pacer to me.

Also' date=' the following World T20 too IIRC.[/quote'] do not remember that but his pace was up just like now and this was time anyone saw shami bowl first time and people were impressed by both him and dinda :--D

Also, against Pakistan in 2012 - ICF almost unanimously wanted Shami to debut ahead of B Kumar.

Also' date=' against Pakistan in 2012 - ICF almost unanimously wanted Shami to debut ahead of B Kumar.[/quote'] it was strange because bhuvi never really did much to get ahead of shami but his debut showed what he was all about even in west indies a tour shami easily out bowled him and obviously the factor and you have to admit in odis shami actually has done quite well so we were right for change :--D

Now Dinda is suddenly swinging the ball. He barely swung the ball in that Pak series which was dominated by pacers. BK debuted and left a mark in helpful conditions. If Dinda had supported BK, we could have won that Chennai ODI. He was just bowling short ball after short ball, didn't swing the ball at all.

Personally, I had no problems with selection Shami or B Kumar. The point of discussion was that Shami was the chosen one and B Kumar was made out to be someone who shouldn't even be selected in the XI. Even B Kumar has done quite well!

Only thing was going against BK was his lack of pace which is still there. He could be far more successful if he was a bit quicker.

Isn't it true that he weighs 57 kgs? That's just bordering malnourishment for a man who is 5'9.
