I beg to differ. That was not bouncing like this. Just that Saqlain bowled well. He turned.. But bounce and pace was low enough that you had time to adjust. But Saqlain had excellent doosra. Throw in Akram at other end that bowling unit was better. Worst pitch we have had on day 5 was in 1987 against Pakistan. Sunny put up a great exhibition. We lost that too by 17 runs. This match we could have easily drawn if not win. That test there was no option for draw. We had one additional day left. So Pakistan had to go for the kill.

Any pitch where a single wicket wont for whole session must be reasonable pitch. There are pitches where part timers are run through sides because of nature of pitch.

This innings was in hunt for much rare win outside sub-continent so has more significance. But that innings was against arch-rival Pakistan so had it's own importance. We were much closer to win there. Also as somebody mentioned here Virat had an option of not going for win but chose to do so which is great. I think taking pitch into consideration, bowling attack was more potent in Chennai.
