SRT100 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The team selected should be Dhawan Vijay Pujara Kohli Rahane Rahul Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Yadav Aaron The batting lineup is the best in terms of strength and depth, the bowling is shallow but we need to ring in the changes. Rahul in the middle order will offer some mucn needed stability.

sm332 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 To be honest - fans have probably given up on rohit but the team mgmt hasnt so I wouldnt expect a change in the batting order. Bowling - Yadav, Ishant, Ashwin, hopefully Bhuvi is fit since he can at least offer something beyond raw pace with no plan a la Aaron.

Dhawan showed some grit batting lower down after being injured. Bhuvi will be kept as a weapon for the ODI, this series is dead and over now, cant see us drawing a match let alone a series. I just cant believe India has no spinners that are unplayable this is meant to be our strength and we have none. It would be like Australia without a fast bowler.

Yep, that concerns me the most. Each foreign tour, we somehow get more worse with each match. Our margins in losses increases each game. Generally, the excuses for any first test lost is lack of preparedness or unable to settle. So it must be either that we lose our motivation very easily and aren't determined enough to bounce back or the opponents simply exposes and sees our weakness with more time.

Aaron has potential though. And he did well in tour games too. Bowled very quick today and got Smith but Kohli dropped him.
