The western freedom of freedom and media was born the day when the majority religion, Christianity was mocked. No one pointed fingers at other religions then. Sadly, the very guys who live in the west with all freedom of expression, want India to be in the stone ages with regressive mentality. If Hinduism allows itself to be mocked, it is the greatness of our religion. Why do you want to compare with other, lesser religions who do not allow the same freedom? What is the need to be whiny and feel victimized There is a dangerous trend in India's youth today, a feeling of victimization for something which is not even there. Did I mentioned anything against the movie or freedom of expression in India. Go read my post again. I am asking would he have the same review for the movie if it were against him ? Would he be impartial ? Advani comes as a hypocrite and am I mere asking the question. Babri masjid is one of worst things to happen to india which is time and again used by our neighbors to cause multiple problems which has caused an unbreakable circle of communal violence.speak what u read and don't pollute your thoughts on my post. May be that what happens when u stay on the padosi forums for long you don't read what is written but read what you want. Every post at least here is not a consipiracy theory or something against freedom of expression.

When muslims were protesting over the film all over the world then Obama and other leaders of west were pleading to youtube to remove that film.Even in PK the director did not even show PK entering mosque with wine bottles .The message from PK is very clear I am afraid of muslims so I will treat them like kids gloves.What 's strange if Hindu's are now learning from muslims

On one hand they would be glorifying the tolerant nature of Hinduism and Hindus but at the same time they would behave exactly opposite of that. If you ask them a question their reply would be another question: where were you when Muslims did this? So if you know that what Muslims did was wrong why are you trying to emulate that morons. :hysterical: These Hindutva goons disgust me as much as the Islamist fundamentalists.

So the word "Mandir" can be used,how about saying islamist militants did what they did after the bomb blast scene.....atleast a dialogue saying that "Quran dissaproves the acts of such militants" would have been good enough. but there are masked words like Khudah ki Raksha etc. Either there has to be full censorship or none at all,can't have different benchmarks fo r different things. As a Hindu I wasn't offended but if someone was full right to them.

The systematic response in this case of Hindus who are offended is to target the directors and producers via non violent means. The producers and directors for not exactly known for their integrity when it comes to taxes for example. Target them where is hits the most. Everybody in Bollywood has a lot to hide. Its a hive of illegal money financed from all over the place. A degree of forensic accounting is needed.

Why not do bold films focussing more on religions other than Hinduism? Kamal Haasan's Vishwarupam comes in mind... You can go out and protest peacefully too. You can go to the court and file a complaint against it if it hurt your feelings and let the court decide on it. I am completely fine with it and in fact I encourage it. But you have no right to vandalize public and private property over it and try to force your will on others and threaten people who don't share your views.
