Far cry from our series of losses in 2011 in Aus and Eng where we have trundlers like Praveen Kumar, Vinay etc struggling to cross 130kph and all fans and experts said we need pacers with more pace and rest will take care of itself However the results are exactly the same if not worse. Why?

Temujin Khaghan Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 the main difference b.w them and us is not the pace. its consistency and bowling in good areas. if you observe ryan harris and hazelwood, they are bowling good length and pitched up swinging away deliveries at a good pace but on a very consistent basis. in an over, they are on target 4/6 times. also their short pitched deliveries are right on the money. yadav is the only indian bowler who is about 3/6 times consistent in an over aaron, shami are very inconsistent. they bowl just 1 good ball/over another thing i noticed is that shami is huffing and puffing even after 2 balls in a over. I think he has a serious lack of stamina. Major Trundler Transformation Alert on this kid. i just dont know what to say about ishanth. he has stamina. but he consistently bowls just short of good length, just short of good pace and just a little to straight on the mid stump, when he needs to be outside the off because of his inswing. All these small mistakes make him a useless bowler But the biggest comedy is Ajit Agarkar finding faults with these bowlers lol

Aaron and yadav are genuine fast bowlers ,aaron needs to follow yadav and improve his consistency

Only played 5 tests because of bad line and length. It's like cannon fodder at that pace with erratic line and length. Blame Dhoni. No. Ishant took few 5 fers this year under field set by Dhoni. Bhuvi too took 5 fers with Dhoni's field setting. Did anyone give Dhoni credit then. No. Then why are you blaming him for each and every below par pace bowler that India produces. Dhoni also did not play the first test, so why bowlers did not perform under Virat. The main reason si the quality not which captain is taking charge of field placements. After Kapil Dev and ZAK india has not produced a quality test pace bowler. Dhoni was not even playing cricket for many of those decades. But yes lets blame him. for lack of pace bowlers in last 3 whole decades. As i he is coaching each and every bowler in Indian cricket. having said that Dhoni must be dropped as captain from test team as he has failed to get results and accountability is to be considered.
