You might have a chance to see some wildlife if you go to Antarctica by ship. In that case, you would be on an icebreaker pushing and prodding your way through thick ice. The pictures that I have posted, they are very, very difficult to get to by any way other than air. The only exception would be the American research station of McMurdo.

One picture was shot by me, the other picture by someone else on the same expedition. Mount Erebus - An active volcano and site of the 1979 Air New Zealand crash: Taken by someone else on the same expedition as me. Now, that is one amazing click.
