You would think so, but the viewer experience deteriorated further when Shastri being given some post because Murali Kartik was brought in to replace him. If Manjrekar is made head coach, then knowing Star TV, they just might bring in Saeed Ajmal as commentator. Not that that wouldn't be fun

Seems to be a sharp cricket mind, and one who has worked with a lot of young cricketers. Our bowling unit -- the worst bowling unit in the world -- could benefit from a guy like Akram. But it's not happening.
