How on Earth is the Indian bowling line up better? Pak won an ODI series against against SA IN South Africa. Oh and they did it an eternity ago (last year). If this garbage Indian team faced SA batting AB would have hit a double century in under 60 balls. No way is this Indian bowling attack better than Pakistan. Even in India Pakistan was able to humiliate Kohli and Co and win the ODI series 2 - 1. FML I honestly think Pak wins this.

Also Pak beat SA IN SA. (Something India has never done). The current Pak team is better than both those teams. The current Indian team is awful. So how is it such a cakewalk for India?

I wont be able to watch SA thrash India this world cup if it comes to that. They are obviously in for a loss against Pakistan as well.

No Sachin Sehwag who frequently owned Pak. Junaid of all people make Kohli his bunny. It could be downright embarassing and the team bundled out for 150 if they bat first.

Infact this is the best Pak line up featuring in a WC since 1999. They have (forced to) remove dead ducks like Chuckmals, Khatmals,Razzaqs etc. and this young team is pretty good. Infact Pak batting is much stronger than India. They bat deep with Afridi coming at 8 and Wahab can whack a few at 9. Against Indian bowling and in Adelaide flat deck, they will be more than handy. Lets compare both the teams. This will most probably be the line up on 15th: Ahmed Sehzad > Shikhar Dhawan Mo. Hafeez < Rohit Sharma Younis Khan < Virat Kohli Haris Sohail = Rahane Misbah = Raina Umar Akmal < Dhoni Sarfaraz > Jadeja Afridi > Binni Wahab > Bhuvi Junaid > Shami Irfan > Yadav 6-3 in favour of Pakistan :(( Stupid Analysis! Ahmed Sehzad is not a better batsman than Shikhar Dhawan and also Haris Sohail not greater than Rahane. Raine scores faster and have better records in ODI;s than Misbah. Jadeja is brilliant in the field, can bowl and bat and ahead of Sarfraz. You should be comparing a WK with WK.

Marut Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Yeah, I meant worse. In Test cricket, I would judge a pacer's potency on the basis of SR, rather than average. How quickly he picks his wickets is a lot more important than whether he concedes two odd boundaries more. Junaid with a SR of 60, is nothing more than ordinary. He will hardly run through a quality side, and at best be a defensive option. Umesh maybe a spray gun but will probably pick wickets more quickly. Junaid is just ordinary; it's futile to debate whether he is slightly better than Umesh or vice versa. Generally, strike rates and averages go together. Unless the bowler is economical, good strike rates mean absolutely nothing. As a rule, pace bowlers with good strike rates and good averages are almost always the same bowlers. Spinners tend to have lower averages and higher strike rates, but for pacemen this does not happen.
