A nation of charity cases reverting back to its natural state. Namo is going to have to create JOBS (and lots of them) if he wants re election in 2019 it seems. Beggars are already lining up (irrespective of getting something/anything thrown their way). If AAP wins delhi, I forsee a most monstrous version of sickulars in the history of India... nay mankind as opposition to BJP in 2019. A catchall for all mediocrities.

Maken hangs out with readers, rules out forming govt with AAP The government formed in Delhi in 2013 and subsequent resignation by Arvind Kejriwal seems to be weighing on not just AAP's mind but also Congress. In a Hangout chat with TOI readers, Congress chief ministerial candidate Ajay Maken categorically ruled out forming the government along with AAP if there was a hung assembly again. Reply to a question from a reader, he said, "Under no circumstances will we support AAP or take their support." The Hangout session, which lasted over an hour, covered a range of topics from the power subsidy given by AAP during its stint in the government to what Congress plans to do to make Delhi safer for women. Perhaps the most interesting part of the live chat came mid-way through the session when Maken answered a question asked by an overwhelmingly large number of readers: What was his honest view on Rahul Gandhi? Can the grand old party function without the Gandhis? Replying to the question, Maken called Rahul Gandhi a "visionary" and said, "I have been interacting with Rahulji on various platforms, ever since he became an MP 10 years ago. He is a person who has the knowledge of varied subjects at the lowest levels... He has in-depth knowledge of everything. You talk to him about foreign policy, he would know much more than an expert on the subject; you talk to him on urban development, he knows much more. This is because he has been interacting with the best minds in the country." :hysterical: Reiterating Gandhi's commitment to the party, Maken said, "Once the dust settles after Delhi polls, people will see who the real, actual Rahul Gandhi is, and people will appreciate and love him." The CM aspirant described Gandhi as "well intentioned" and "passionate" about Congress's ideals, including the fight against corruption. Acknowledging that the Gandhi scion had worked hard in the run-up to the Delhi assembly elections, Maken added, "I don't think he has addressed as many rallies or road shows in any of the previous Delhi elections. For the first time he has come out so actively and participated in campaigns." Readers also questioned Maken on a host of other issues, including the reduction in power tariffs during the AAP regime (which he described as a subsidy AAP had paid private companies with tax payers money), infighting within Congress, funding of political parties coming under RTI, Congress's pledge to the minority community, as well as better infrastructure and measures for a safer city for women. Maken, who had one reader suggest to him that he join AAP, was scathing about the argument by PM Narendra Modi that the state and Centre should have the same party in power. Calling it political opportunism, he said that the PM had not felt so in 2007 and 2012 when he was seeking votes in the Gujarat elections as the chief minister. On a lighter note, Maken said he would prefer to opt for NOTA (none of the above) option when a reader asked whom he would vote for between BJP candidate Kiran Bedi and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Think BJP will sweep with 40+ seats . Usually when the election is this close to call the before night money to voters tend to tilt to the balance in closely fought seats .Particularly in a state like Delhi were the no. of voters/seats are very low . AAP don't have the resource to match BJP in that regard .Also AAP vote base is the poor and lower middle class who tend to be swayed by such tactics unlike the upper MC and rich which seems to be supporting BJP
