velu Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 BCCI president in-exile N Srinivasan has decided to give up on his Indian Premier League franchisee Chennai Super Kings following the Supreme Court's ban on BCCI office bearers having any commercial interests in the board's activities. According to reports on Sunday, Srinivasan has apparently told BCCI members that he would keep himself out of the CSK team so that he can return to the cricket board and contest for the upcoming elections. Earlier, he had de-merged CSK from the company and made it into a seperate subsidiary in the hope that the court would give him an option to choose between the IPL franchise and his position in the BCCI. Elections have to happen within six weeks. The punishments will be decided after 3 months. Srini can't contest :hehe:

But then again, this is something which happens with every single crook when he/she is going down. They will realize it soon enough though.

Srini can't contest :hehe: I don't think SC has found Sreeni guilty of anything that deserves award of punishment by the three member team. And hence, the only barrier afaik is disposal of interests in CSK, which he will achieve easily. Mama na summava.
