If India qualify for the tri-series final,they will have two more matches in the tri-series.2 warm up games follow. The whole league stage(Apart from the 2 matches against pak and SA) are also very light and India can affors to experiment there.So dhawan can take his time and find his form back.

veer Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 My fear is that he'll perform during league stages in meaningless games against Minnows/WI/Pak etc.. and then he'll get picked in QF/SF when good bowling attack will nick him out easily.. I would say push him to middle order for 2-3 games and see what he does and go from there. Rayudu and Dhawan both are bad choices but we'll have to live with it.

Not players can have 43 average with 90+ strike rate. We won Champions trophy purely cuz of his batting. He still deserve his spot over Rayadu and Binny

His problem is confidence due to failure in tests. He should not be playing tests and he will do good in ODIs everywhere. He needs one good knock and he will be back to form.
