bulbul Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 SOME People don't like Murugan's book so copies are burned, shops closed, court cases filed, and he is threatened leading him to quit writing. SOME People don't like reprinting of the Charlie Hebdo cartoon so the editor of the paper has to quit, the paper has to shut down and the editor has to go underground. SOME people think the AIB Roast is offensive and vulgar so the video is taken down and cases are filed in court. Most of the people in India don't care about these things but there are SOME (in every religion) who have only one thing to do in life - sit around and wait for something that offends them so they can get attention in the name of religion. Then why so much hullabbullo for certain elements and deadly silence for others. We all know these stuffs done by fringe groups anyway.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Then why so much hullabbullo for certain elements and deadly silence for others. We all know these stuffs done by fringe groups anyway. I guess you are referring to RSS etc - thats because since Modi Sarkar has come it seems they have got full freedom to act without fear of any consequences.

The only difference is the SOME people from religion of peace kill MANY for fun.
hhunaeh Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Difficult to argue with posters who try to find logic with Boko haram :nervous: your logic doesn't go beyond the fact that they are muslims, it stops at that point and then you decide it is good enough to troll, so reexamine that before arguing.

Your posts look so.
Shivaji bhonsle Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Op should realize the difference between pseudo secular politicians who look for Muslim votes and ordinary people like us who get disgusted when a fringe group , (irrespective of the religion)stops freedom of speech and expression Politicians do it for votes and ordinary people like us don't have to do that and I definitely know the difference between these fringe groups and I certainly know which group is as dangerous as water cannon and which group is as dangerous as AK 47.
Old guy Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 guys ,please stay on topic or this thread gets locked :orderorder:
hhunaeh Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 so u mock BJP and it's supporteers just because they are Hindu?? Your posts look so. i mock chaddis and the rss, not hindus.
Detonator Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 i mock chaddis and the rss' date=' not hindus.[/quote'] A lot of us hate some of their actions. But you seem to bring them up on every topic. You fail to even give a token post "this is wrong. yay" but come blazing with all guns when some obscure incident related to Hindus. Don't even start about Boko Haram post. Christian Science monitor? Seriously? So much confusion in a single post. You seem to hellbent on attacking people who don't agree with you rather than expression your opinion on topic. The hypocrisy mentioned in the article is that very few are supporting Shirin Dhalvi and the freedom of expression is not bought up by the watchdogs. The terrorist sympathisers want to justify the actions of the so called minority in the name of secular bs.
Desi Cartman Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 It is interesting to see how the pattern evolves. In a thread where some apparent "Hindutva" folks were supposedly protesting a book, they come, they bash the "Hindutva" folks, call them demeaning names, etc. In a thread where apparently some Muslim folks raised objections to a Muslim portrayal, they come, post a line of protest (one even mentions it as "token protest"), switch the topic to Hindutva, bash the "Hindutva" folks, call them demeaning names, etc. :hmmm: You didn't tell me, do I need to post my token protest, am I secular? I just want to know the criteria.
bulbul Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 You didn't tell me, do I need to post my token protest, am I secular? I just want to know the criteria. You are neutral right?
Texan Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 You didn't tell me, do I need to post my token protest, am I secular? I just want to know the criteria. You can decide that for yourself. You should not need someone else telling you that. And there is no need to indulge in tokenism. Speak from your heart, the way you do in the political forum.
Yoda-esque Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I often used to think how a few British people ruled over millions of Indians... Now I know
RedFever Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 guys ' date='please stay on topic or this thread gets locked :orderorder:[/quote'] as usual, "secular" ICF cant take any criticism on religion of peace
RedFever Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Why is this female's surname dalvi, was she try to do a ghar wapasi ?
Yoda-esque Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Why is this female's surname dalvi' date=' was she try to do a ghar wapasi ?[/quote'] Kaskar adhnaav aiklas na
RedFever Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Kaskar adhnaav aiklas na ho, oh ok like that. :two_thumbs_up:
ravishingravi Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 You didn't tell me, do I need to post my token protest, am I secular? I just want to know the criteria. Secular to the world or truly secular in your mind.
Desi Cartman Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Secular to the world or truly secular in your mind. i guess secular is someone who treats everybody the same irrespective of religion. I dont think Im there, I have my bias amongst people from certain religions. I also dont believe in religion so think that religion is actually creating all this trouble. People like me who were born in family with roots from Pakistan have had some serious lecturing when we were young. I have seen MANY riots myself as I was living in Moradabad and Meerut in mid early and mid 90s. I have seen how people behave, I have seen a guy tell us that he kills at least 1 muslim a day during riots else he doesnt eat. Since religion doesnt make sense to me and plus my experience with extremists, I at some level have no understanding of religious people. I am not saying I hate them, I just dont understand them so either they see something that I dont or vice versa. Does this define who I am? :hitler:
