Pakistan being a bowling power house has a reputation to rip through any side, let alone a fragile batting unit like India. Agree they do not have likes of Junaid & Ajmal but still a very potent attack. Irfan, Wahab, Yasir Shah can be very dangerous on their day. I can only think what they will do to our batting, come Sunday.
Iconoclast Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 In all my years if watching cricket this is the worst ODI bowling attack Pakistan ever had. Irfan will be injured. Wahab is a spray gun. Adil and Sohail are gun barrel straight medium pacers. Rahat has never played an ODI. Shah and Afridi will be of little use on non-turning pitches. You have noting to worry about.
Gunner Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I can see only Irfan troubling our batsmen. Negotiate him and we'll be fine. My main worry is the bowling, if we don't take wickets in the first half of the inning, we're most def gonna be fkd in the second. Our bowling strategy should be to set aggressive fields upfront and bowl accordingly, constantly looking to take wickets and penetrate their middle order.
Gunner Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Wahab did well v India in 2011. He will be potent if the pakis can get the ball to reverse. They might be successful in doing so in the dry-ish conditions at Adelaide.

jf1gp_1 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Only watched highlights of our bowling against afghan but saw a lot of short pitch stuff Yorkers which I haven't seen in a long time. Also I felt 2nd half of the game we bowled far better and the intensity was up. Was it poor afghan batting or did we actually bowled a disciplined line?
