He mentioned how emotional and pumped up he gets thinking of our soldiers in the border and it fires him to play better against Pakistan. We need more such players. In LOI's, Raina is a very very handy contributor to our team and he has been that way for years.... So :hatsoff: to him for that.

Dhawan and Raina played excellent knocks. Also Kohli was involved in both partnerships so can't discount that as well. Dhawan was superb easily rotating the strike and still going at nice runrate. Raina did the real damage by strategically smashing the ball to the square boundaries. Total team effort as the bowlers supported the batsmen well with Ashwin creating pressure, Shami picking up regular wickets along with Mohit and Yadav did well to come back and pick up those two crucial wickets. If anything the bowlers line was wayward at times especially Yadav but in his second spell, he was trying to keep it tight.
