Cricket_Hacker Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 They have had a proud history,but now dont really look interested,no motivation etc etc. I think they should be disbanded and the individual countries like Jamaica,Guyana,T&T etc could be independent teams.They would be more motivation for the players as they would be playing for their country

The players are unhappy, the administrators haven't a clue, their cricket board is always near bankrupt and no matter how much the likes of Tony Cozier, Harsha etc talk about their glorious past, it is not going to help one bit.

The best Australian team is better than the best West Indies team, in my opinion. But I do agree with you that they are the best team in the 70s/80s. Sad to see them not even at minnow level right now.

They would sink the 94-07 Aussie team home and away. In ODIs, possibly prime Aus was better as the ODI game evolved so much. Overall, Aus has been the #1 cricket nation but peak for peak I'd say late 70's/ 1990s WI best ever.
