Finally got the answers to my question. All of them is due to BSNL laziness :giggle: They update my usage in portal till 4 aug 11 pm and it was just below limit . And next they updated today morning and it was over limit. So whatever i used between this time was counted below limit, and today morning they reduced my speed. Means i can use the high speed till BSNL does not update my data usage in portal. It is not instantly 6 GB but whenever BSNL wants. :haha:

FUP being 20gb' date=' after that speeds die down to 1mbps. Reliance has a consistent 2mbps plan for the same price, no FUP.[/quote'] right. FUP isnt mentioned here. The other day, I saw ad abt this plan though - 5 mbps unlimited for 700/- from 'you broadband' which I inquired with their cust. care (there is no FUP) http://www.youbroadband.in/broadbandplans/hyderabad.php (click on unlimited plans)

Really? Is this something you have witnessed personally or is this a popular opinion about them?
Personally and popular opinion. As long as it works its fine. But if it goes down then god help you.It will probably go down in powercuts Rain and whenever else it feels like. And if there is big fault then you can forget about it.They simply dont care. If you take reliance keep a back up connection.
