vishalvirsingh Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 I believe india shud play 4 pacers and Ashwin at waca. the 4th pacer can be BINNY or BHUVI but I believe india should play 4 pacers and ashwin. waca is ordered to support pacers and I guess windies is trying to bang fast n furious against us..jadeja has done fair against other teams but not too good and at waca tracks ..he does not get the required assistance so india should play BHUVI ideally or if binny is bowling well in nets he could be given a chance as he is a better batsman that bhuvi.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 India will win against the west indies if we play- ash jadeja shammi umesh mohit or ash shammi umesh mohit bhuvi or ash shammi umesh mohit binny or 3:2 or 4:1 attack but My point is if the Pitch supports fast bowlers why not play 3 fast bowlers and a swing bowler rather than a flat Spinner who bowls defensively.

MK55 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Umesh, Shami, Mohit, Ashwin, Binny Binny can be effective at WACA. Is a decent batsmen as well and possibly better than Jadeja on current form. If Shami is match fit, he should definitely play. He's a rhythm bowler and it will be difficult for him to be sharp in the quarters without these group matches to sustain the good form. Also, this is one match where the death bowling will be tested. So will be good preparation for the bowlers...

sensible-indian Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Play 3 + 2. Jaddu needs practice cos he will play main games. Ashwin can do with a bit of practice too. Why are people wanting 4 pacers here? Go with 3 and iron our your flaws here as that's the combo we will be having in the WC.

I would even promote him (and Dhoni) up the batting order if our top order clicks.
