There is a good chance SA could become No.1 in our group if they beat Pak and UAE convincingly and India may drop to No.2 if we lose a game which means we face Australia in QF if Aus lose to SL. How about them apples ?

India should look to win each game and not worry about results in other games or whom we are facing which is not under our control. Even in 2011 WC, we beat Aus, Pak and SL in knock out stages to win the cup and they are the three best teams in the tournament after India IMO. If you are looking to win the cup, you should look to beat any team at any stage.

I would much rather meet them in the finals and then potentially lose rather than be knocked out in the quarterfinals. Hopefully we don't see a Gayle storm so we can top our group.
