I wanna improve our over all records.. I say play like 50 Odis and 20 tests..

I want BCCI and PCB to come up with a 5 MATCH ODI series world tour. All 5 games played in different countries in the span of 22 days. My schedule would be like 1st game - Florida, USA - It will be packed with fans. USA is dying to watch India or Pak play. 2nd game - Toronto, Canada - I am sure this will be packed. Just like USA, people are dying to watch some cricket here and Sahara Cup was a great sucess back in 90s here. 3rd Game - Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland. Huge stadium of 80,00 capacity. I am sure it will be great atmosphere for this one off cricket event. They have hosted one of cricket matches before. 4th Game - Lords, England. - It will be nice to have a India-Pak at lords. Oval won't be a bad idea, but Lords, just for the history. 5th Game - MCG - The series ends here. Imagine a packed MCG with India-Pak fans. Great way to end the series.

Since UAE as our 'home', we haven't lost a single test series. Very impressive. I think every other team in World cricket has lost at home bar us in this period.

The policy of no bilateral cricket with Pakistan until the cross-border terrorism issue is resolved is strategically smart and sensible. The policy of no Pakistani players in IPL logically follows from that. Pakistan cricket has been radicalized much like its other institutions of military, education, judiciary and media. You reap what you sow. Actions have consequences and karma is a *****. Tough love but them are the breaks. GOI and BCCI should continue to play the Bad Cop/Good Cop two-step routine. No bilateral cricket with or domestic league presence of Pakistan please. India's risk from cash inflows into terror networks from these cricketing engagements far outweighs any potential benefit. And no, you don't do bleading heart liberal nonsense in realpolitik.

Don't get me wrong. There is no hate here. "Aaane do" followed from the 2011 Mohali cricket diplomacy. A relatively strong civilian government in Pakistan that can stand up to the military is the key to the resumption of peace talks as well as bilateral cricketing ties. Cricket will continued to be used as a strategic tool whether we like it or not. India will play Pakistan in Dec if the GOI thinks it can be used as leverage. Again, not being idealistic but just realistic.

If anyone thinks they genuinely want a good relation with BCCI for cricket's sake is dillusional :cantstop: If they were so genuine, they won't have make such drama during the formation of Big 3. They were always also reluctant to send team to India in early - mid 90's because BCCI was not big back then. Paisa bolta hai dost....and PCB like any other board want a share of BCCI's profit...nothing else. BCCI gains nothing out of this series and hence there is not much interest. India and Pakistan are not even close to being Germany and France let alone Denmark and Sweden geopolitically. Common man is so concerned with living one's own life that he/she doesn't often care about what happens to the counterparts in near and distant realms. Is the logic of economic sanctions against Russia by the US that different from the cricket sanctions by India against Pakistan? Given the high stakes, why should the GOI cater to the greed of BCCI or seek to sate the thirst of the cricket fans?
