beetle Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I am not as shocked at the ban(of the documentary....although who are they to tell us if we can or not watch 50 shades of whatever)...but at the severity of the ban and the extreme and unnecessary ferociousness shown by the govt.Also that they chose to ban it even without seeing it...which shows they don't give a **** about the content....only that they have the right to ban ...so they will .The knee jerk reaction and the brain dumbing reasons given for banning make it even worse.This makes me wonder about the 'achche din'. Kiske achche din?I won't be surprised if there is more to come...prompted by the chaddi brigade.

One of the most polarized movie . This movie is about women allowing herself to be subjected to cruelty and torture. Anywho if you look at the IMDB rating it i like 4.1 or something. Male rating alone is only like 2.5 lol Just a huge gender gap in the voting.. rarely you can see such a big gap. Men are really surprised how women love that movie as in that movie woman is abused by a dominating rich male. Women just love it.. It really threw men into a spin.. Real WTF movie. This book has created a new genre of dark romance and believe me it is dark. The guy beats the girl black and blue, rapes her and at times is also responsible for her getting almost killed and yet the girl thinks that no one has challenged her before like this guy . She is no longer the naive innocent girl blah and of course now she has become stronger than she ever was. She feels quite powerful when she finds that guy is falling in love with her Sigh!. Believe me when i say that fifity shades is actually is quite timid when compared to other books that came after it.

Some women do have rape fantasies as well. In any case, the movie is about exploration of sexual desires - pure raw sexuality. In 50 shades of grey, one set of sexual desires are explored.
