They made several ads with the same guy before. Every time Ind meets Pak in WC, he awaits with firecrackers to celebrate Pakistan victory but it never happened so after Pak-Ind match this WC, he adopts a jersey of every country India has played so far, hoping Ind would lose to one of them. The theme of the ad is 'Mauka' meaning opportunity. In this ad: It has come down to Ind - IRE. Ind has to beat IRE for Pak to qualify apparently. So this Pakistani fan finally adopts the arch rival blue jersey, hoping Ind beats IRE. He walks into Star Sports studio with box of firecrackers. Harsha & Akash in the room, 2 of the commentators of SS. Harsha sees the Pak guy and asks blue jersey? Akash explains Pak needs Ind to beat IRE for them to qualify for QFs...then they both say Mauka. *Translation takes out lot of the humor.

But we know our boys won't be able to handle the expectations whereas Indians handle it much better. Still don't count it out though, haha :P
