Would have loved to see Viv in T2Os - Both of them had/have the potential to change a game because of their fielding - Viv served as a bowler too; ABDV served as the WK On the other hand, - ABDV at times bowls too; Viv's WK skills are :secret: - Ofc, Viv is a proven performer under pressure (and also put the opposition under tremendous pressure) PS - Look at Imran's reaction oU2iQPCwHcQ

At his peak, Sehwag's avg was amongst the best with his peers - Kings of big scores esp. triple 100s On the other hand - One can claim to be a revolutionary test opener, the other is the greatest batsman the game has seen :hatsoff:

Viv was a beast slipper but no account of him being an electric runner between the wickets or being a fantastic outfielder - Please feel free to correct me. Further AB's bowling is a JOKE. Viv's was eons better. Thirdly, the eras both are in are not even comparable. Arguably had Viv been playing on these joke surfaces, he'd be averaging maybe in high 60s or even 70s with a SR of over 100. Viv is a champion and not by performances but also by the trophies he won with his team. ABDV is yet to win any substantial trophy really. He has failed to deceive so far in most crucial situations with the bat as well. I think Virat Kohli and ABDV are comparable. Both products of modern situations Both have unbelievable career numbers Both can kill any opposition/bowler once they get going Both are flashy strokemakers but technically excellent as well. Both are fantastic fielders.

Cricketics Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 It is funny but Brandon Taylor and Andy Flower have similar fate and are probably the best batsman in their team. Grant Flower and Sean Williams seem to be very much alike too. Both Bats who can bowl. Grant Flower could come up with some beautiful deliveries. Like the one he bowled to Tendulkar in 2003 world cup game. Sean Williams does come up with similar deliveries often. And there is no dobt, both can bat well.

Right arm off spin. On SL tour, Waugh made 4 consecutive ducks in 92 and Nohit made 13 runs in 5 games in 2012.
