Dooks Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Drop Jaddu for next game and bring Aksar Patel. He can't do worse than Jaddu at the moment. Also, letting Jaddu go in early is not a bad idea. What if he gets out after scoring 10-12? He can't score more than that now. Win-win in my humble opinion. Also, DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE Bongs. They have beater us before so play as if we are playing Aus/NZ and not ENG.

Sid Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Lots of hubris in the OP.Worry about QF first ,then think of SF.
cowboysfan Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Do not underestimate bangbros,I didn't know their fast bowlers could bowl so well.
Sid Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Do not underestimate bangbros' date='I didn't know their fast bowlers could bowl so well.[/quote'] True.
Kalia_Test Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 We weren't really tested in any of the games this WC apart from maybe the death overs against Pakistan and when AB was batting against us in SA. Def not enough. And now with practically a bye in the QF we might come up against an inform Aus or NZ without a lot of tense situation experience this WC. And tghat might cost us Honestly I would have preferred Eng or SL. We would have still got a prettt much guaranteed win but atleast would have been tested with some good bowling You were tested against India, WI and even SA and Zim..:dontknow:
Trundler27 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Wow really?? AFAIK Bangladesh was the team that embarrassed us in the 2007 edition so they have a better record against us in WC's then pakistan :giggle: So let us get to the semi's first and that itself would make most 'experts' eat their words since almost everyone shut us out of the semi's before the start of this tourney. As far as being tested is concerned, there is no team other than India that has been more tested on these pitches since we have been playing a grueling series in Aus for the past 3 months or so. I think that if our bowling holds up like it has been doing so far then we have a good good chance of making the semi's and then from there it is a coin toss really.
Crookbond Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Pehle QF khelo saalon ... then worry about the SF. Why the premature ejaculations?
gattaca Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Pehle QF khelo saalon ... then worry about the SF. Why the premature ejaculations? It just padosis jumping the mauka mauka bandwagon
yoda Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Don't worry, we will get tested enough before the world cup is over. Getting tested in prelims doesn't mean knock-outs will be any easier. Each game is a new one. Most of our bats have had at least one good innings, our bowlers are clicking well. If we are still biatching, not sure what else will make you happy.
zen Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 First, we (fans) would want even the #9 and #10 to hit 100s and win a game for Ind, and make us feel confident about our chances As a team, Ind has little control over the fixtures - whom it plays and does not. Things the team can control are its performance on field, preparation (training, learning from mistakes, etc.), how it manages the options it has (squad, balance, horses for courses, etc.), how prepared it is to manage risks (injuries for example), etc. Dhoni should use the last two games to work out his options and better prepare the for the KOs Hopefully, the next two games will help Ind to get in to a nice rhythm and build further confidence :nice: Sometimes, teams that are destined to win have an easy experience - for e.g. they get pitted in an easier group, have easier KO games, the tougher opposition would make mistakes at crucial junctures or is knocked out by another team, the teams win the important toss, .... :dontknow:
flamy Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 If anything, BD will give us more fight than the shoddy Ingerland.
