India's middle order imo is still iffy as shown against SA and Pakistan (as the top order made the runs) Pakistan batting is way iffy South Africa if they lose Amla they are going to struggle. Bowling wise a bit ehhh. New Zealand's middle order is fragile B'desh aren't strong enough Sri Lanka's bowling is an issue West INdies' batting full stop is an issue. Every team has shown as massive weakness in more than 2 matches except for Australia. The lone weakness they had was no stability until they moved Smith to 3. Bowling wise Starc and Cummins have been on song, Maxwell does enough to take wickets. The only issue is that Johnson has been average.

After Smith returning in form and Clarke gettin better game after game, i doubt if Ozzies are vulnerable with 250 score I was counting on their over agressive batting to collapse like it did against kiwis but i doubt that's going to happen with Smith and Clarke both getting in form. Unless you post like 350+ target, they'll be hard to beat.. .

Unless you post like 350+ target, they'll be hard to beat.. . Apart from Starc their bowling isn't too good, but I doubt they would concede 350. They should be able to comfortably chase any under 300.

putrevus Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 If ball swings or pitch has some spin, Aussies are toast they will crumble, I wish they kicked Clarke out but he will play important role in such scenarios. Unless the pitch is fast and bouncy which Adelaide is not Pakistan has very good chance of beating them.

Against Pakistan and South Africa, India really struggled in the death overs to score runs. The top order thankfully in that game scored good runs to avoid India getting less than 300. Yes India scored runs in the middle order against Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe's death bowling is really horrible. Thankfully the same can be said of B'desh, Sri Lanka and West Indies but the rest aren't like that. With regards to Australia, I felt their weakness was the top order but moving Smith to 3 was a masterstroke so far. They needed that stability who can rotate the strike (Watson doesn't really rotate)

There's probably a fat rat's clacker's chance in hell* (i.e. close to zero chance) of that happening. * I may or may not have made that saying up.

With these two hanging in the middle and some big hitters playing around them, no score is safe. Trust me these monsters can easily score 310-320 score against our bowlers. So BD, SL, PK are all vulnerable against this lineup not just us. SA and NZ does have 2-3 extremely good bowlers and could stand a chance. Let them bad first and anything less than 300, opposition can score the runs against their bowling lineup. Balanced team? NO Best WC team? Yes
