WTF is that statement, they played test series for one and half months and lost 0-2 people are talking as if they got whitewashed, every test match was close. That Tri series they simply checked out, that was garbage to organize just b4 world cup, do you really think India could not win a match against England if they tried???

Precambrian Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 No, it shows that one team won when it mattered. NZ may have won more matches, they didn't win the ones that mattered. For example NZ beat Aus in the group game in this WC, but if they win the WC they will have won the matches that mattered the most. Then what's the bloody point of having the league matches if those doesn't mean anything? I am not against group matches, but if overall a team wins more matches than anyone in a world cup and does not even reach the finals, there is a problem regarding the structure of that tournament. 1992 was one such messed up tournament in that aspect.

This made their fans believe that they need aggression, cornered animals,etc....so much delusion that I feel sad What Pak fans need is maturity...may almighty provide them that .... As for Indian fans - we know Aus is nearly unbeatable....we will not claim that we WOULD have, SHOULD have, COULD have beaten them... Yes we make some threads here and there to pump ourselves BUT we are always realistic.... May almighty provide maturity and sense to Pak fans so that they are realistic and live lives normally...ameen...

Only problem in that format was each match is very important so reserve day is must . It was because of that Pakistan qualified
