I don't think the batting will suffer. Similarly, if they get Azam for Afridi, they will have a better bat and a better bowler than Lola. I think the Pak team will do more or less the same as it has been doing right now, even with all the retirements and replacements.

I don't know about other batsmen. If this is what they are going to persist they will be struggling for a long time.

However, I think there are 1-2 players who have been discarded, who are quite capable.

Pakistan n WI nowadays lack proper technique, their domestic format n focus needs to be changed from T20 to test as priority. Pakistan n WI need to pick up young age group players n groom them for future test batting role thru planning n. Purpose, also shows the idiocacy of our selectors in leaving out Aaron who could bowl as fast as any one in this tournament and also has skills to move the ball n is aggressive

He bowled his heart out, and was not supported by his teammates unfortunately. Misbah played an uncharacteristic knock today. He should have dropped anchor. They were all just playing too many shots.
