GolGappe Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I'd go for Rohit's 200 against Australia. All the ODI 200's have been scored on real pattas but the intensity and quality of Australian bowling attacks regardless of conditions makes Rohit's 200 my favorite. Second Sachin's against RSA.

IF talking about big ground then Gayle double Hundred at Manuka Oval, the biggest ground in Australia, should be considered better.

Also, Faulkner won Australia an ODI last year after Ashes on his own from an impossible situation chasing 300 on a big ground. SO, ground does not matter to these guys because most of the sixes are 70 meter plus.

Sachin 200 - first 200, against a strong bowling side Rohit 209 - Great knock, third string Aussie bowling attack Guptil 237 - high pressure knock, against bowlers famous for their magnanimity. Sehwag 218 - Great knock, average bowling side Gayle 215 - Against a minnow That said, Rohit 264 is from another world for its sheer size, and I can name several hundreds that are better than all other 200s in the list.

In SA match, only Morkel was not there. There is no attack which has not been thrashed in ODIs these days quality or not.

bones Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Based on the likely attack faced, Tendulkar's probably stands out. But in truth I found watching all of them boring. There was more excitement in 3 overs of Starc vs NZ and Wahab vs Aus than all of those innings combined.
