That was a bad assumption. Even earlier they tried a wide full ball which he drilled through off side for 4. He should have gone for the base of the stumps. No way you can hit that for 4.

Dei Pothum da... ABDV seriously is so immature as a captain, has no real clue about true leadership. Instead just goes on talking rubbish and putting his team under pressure. Colossal flop as a captain. Should give the captaincy to someone who is mature and can talk sense.

Sachin had great team in 2003 & 2011. Even 2007 was not bad team.

Can't blame him for being disappointed. He definitely had the players to win this Cup. Lack of consistency is what hits SA the most. They can go from looking invincible (West Indies match) to looking dreadful (Pakistan match) from one match to the next.

It's frustrating being a fan of such a captain when things go badly though. I think it's reassuring for the South African fans how much the skipper cares, you don't get that from Dhoni

Thier problem was 5th bowler..a decent AR should have balanced team well but they bought Behrdeien.:giggle: Another problem was not able to drop Dcoc...that mean AB keeper & Russow opening so i guess they didnt want to change combination in middle of series.
