No it didn't save but I've been confirming my team right before the start of the match. Atleast, in the other 3 matches I already had a few players in my team when it didn't work I don't even have a single player in this game.

You should do your changes within first fifteen minutes of toss, as most players try to confirm at last minute and there becomes server overload I suppose. I have had only once the same problem when they gave that extra 30 minutes or so. Otherwise changes have been smooth.
