Best games to 6's hit ratio is probably Yousuf in LOI's overall and Yuvraj in T20's. Not surprising. We need a genuine power hitter not Uthappa type power hitter. Samson,Agarwal?

For T20 IPL is going to be criteria as syed mustaq ali T20 tournament is never going to gain any relevance. But for 50 over game we have Deodhar Trophy , Challenger Trophy and NKP Salve Trophy. We do have to give importance to these games while selecting ODIs.

Neither of them had more than a season success.Because the competitive ness and quality of international players will always figure them out Whereas similar guys pummel in Ranji and VH trophy for years due to lack of quality . IPL is/should be the main criteria for selecting ODI and T20 players Technique will be found out where in one dayers you have to pick up singles, twos for long periods . That area is never going to be tested in a T20 scenario. Crash bang wallop.. Besides in IPL overseas players steal the show most of the time. If at all any Indians click that is mostly an established Indian player. Apart from Ashwin i don't think IPL produced any great player . Rayudu , Tiwary, Gony, Asnodkar.. we had variety of flops.

But surely not someone who can't take singles. I've seen him in Ranji finals, was taking singles every ball and odd boundaries.

How many Indian batsmen scored 100 in their first overseas tour ? None other than Tendu and Kohli. We shouldn't lose on him, he can be another great for us.
