Can't see anyone else getting the job. The only question is....he is too good a coach to just be WA's coach. Someone will come knocking with big money. Lehmann isn't in a rush to move aside. My gut feeling is that if we win the Ashes in England, we might see a move earlier than you think.

ODI is my favourite format and naturally the world cup but I would like to see this guy being brought down to earth.

He won't tour India again, he will go until the Sydney test this year at most (18 tests time). That is probably the max. More likely the end of the Ashes.

HippoSucks Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Sad to hear this. He was one of my favorite wicket keepers and even at this age his skill hadn't deteriorated much. Luckily Australia has two very good wicket keepers to replace Haddin with - Nevill and Whiteman. Both are in good form (especially Nevill who is having a wonderful year - just scored a century and a double century in February) but I think Nevill will get a chance first. Whiteman will likely need a year or two before he is ready.

Mild sledging is part of the game and everyone should accept it, no matter who does it. And I don't understand the picture. What is wrong with being happy that you picked up a wicket?

They are not only happy , but rub it in..this is so childish..
