Won't be bad if ICC ties up each of top 5 nations with 5 associate members. They can help them financially, use their grounds/conditions, players can play in at least List A competitions of each other. Will help a lot of our players if we can arrange few of our domestic games in Irish/Scotland conditions.

First get a decent pace attack.
Point is if BD can, why can't these guys? Have had more glory in big tournaments at this short period over those wannabes.

They have to contend with ECB as well :cantstop: . Boyd Rankine may never play cricket for England again. Would have played for Ireland long time

India's pace attack isn't too brilliant too, especially in Test cricket. It's decent now but for many years India also hardly had any good pace bowler.

Have to say Ireland fans are a breath of fresh air compared to BD fans. .
bcoz cricket is not at all popular in ireland while in bd ,cricket has left football way behind and has become national obsession(src-some bangla frnds )

Ireland, Afghanistan should travel India and play our "A" teams. They are passionate about cricket. We should help them. More better team means, more quality and more exciting cricket. If Nepal can improve like the lankans , we have some new teams in world cricket. Man, that will be very exciting.

But they just get their head down and get on with the job. There is also a difference between passion and unrealistic expectation. Even in Rugby you ask what the Irish fans expected from the team in the 2015 wc they will say a semi would be nice. You ask BD fans about the 2019 WC they will say they will win it hands down.

Com on leave the tigers alone, they are extremely passionate despite 18 years of rubbish their team has displayed, takes tiger like passion to still support their team.

If Ireland were to have world class spinners then why can't they play Test cricket? Took 70 years and billions of US dollars of gross revenue before 1 billion strong population could produce decent pace bowlers like Kapil, Srinath, Zaheer, Umesh, Aaron, and Shami. If you factor man-years-dollars, forget Pakistan or New Zealand, or Ireland who have already made a Boyd Rankin...even Djibouti (the city, not even the country) would have created more overall quality fast bowlers.
