Rahane Kohli Raina Rohit Surya Yusuf Dhoni Binny Ashwin Bhuvi Umesh Substitute players: Mohit, Tambe, Jadeja, Hooda, Shikar --- i dont see how jadeja can trump over yusuf pathan and stuart binny anymore. we will look like fools, if we send jadeja as a "hitter" in the late overs. i would like to place saha over dhoni as the keeper, but he will not budge. also, i would rather prefer another pure hitter like surya/hooda over the run a ball shikar dhawan.

Jeez why would u want the useless Pathan ? Jadeja Binny Yusuf none of these should be anywhere near the T20 team As for the XI probably have to wait few more matches and see how the likes of Hooda SKY Iyer does

We have to have to attacking spinners in the team for a Twenty20 tournament which is taking place in India. Mishra, if he is good then should be good option. But we should make sure we have good spin options as they can slow the game down for the opossing team and can chip in with wickets.

We also have Ashwin who is nowadays grown into an excellent attacking spinner. So don't think spin would be much of an issue

I heard there might be asia cup with twenty20 format before that, so that tournament will likely decide atleast 12 of our 15 players for the squad. So whichver spinner is bowling the best around that time should get the nod.

Shikar Rohit Raina (he must bat at 3 as the wc is in india) Kohli MSD Hooda Binny Ash Bhuvi Umesh Tambe Rahane, Uttapppa, Shami, Mohit I would have Rahane in the squad. But only as back up. He is an exception fielder and I would have him as 12th man. Robin covers the batsman opener and keeper back up role. Hooda Binny Raina all spin and pace options who puttogerher i feel can chip in with 5-6 overs on a regular basis. Umesh Mohit Shami and Bhuvi chose the 2 in best form. Aaron has been a spray gun. I feel Binny is good for 15-20 quick fire run as is Hooda. Ash/Bhuvi too can bat though they are slow. Sky i feel is a hack who will get exposed. I know this sisnce i have been following him at mumbai ranji. Hooda does appear to have the power and skills v spin. I would like to see his bowling more and his batting agains tthe likes of Starc etc. But i feel his game v spin is fine. Raina and Binny can chip in as 5th bowler.

realistically though I get a feeling we are going to have the same team as the ODI WC maybe 1-2 changes. But the same starting 11 with maybe Bhuvi coming in.

Still a long way to go... We should pick players that are in form. T20 requires you to get going right from ball #1. So, there should be no place for players struggling for form no matter what their past reputation has been. We should have learnt this lesson in the last World T20 carrying an out of form Yuvraj Singh.
