maniac Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Every edition there is always a young indian batsman or 2 to look forward to Samson,Iyer have shown promise Chand had a chance to showcase his skills from his under 19 heroics and we all were excited to see how he would do. Even the likes of Pandey,sky or even valthaty etc had their moment in the sun and made a name for themselves. Likes of rahul,vihari etc may not be international material,in Rahul's case international loi material but they showed some promise in domestics But when it comes to indian bowlers it is the same old pk,vinay and dindas of the world...I think since bumrah a couple of years back have not seen a promising young indian fast bowler.....closest is may be Sandeep sharma. Even in the spin dept it's the same old chawlas and mishras or ojhas of he world.....kuldeep yadav was the last exciting talent. Does any team even have a young indian bowling prospect in their ranks? What is the point of exposing anureet singhs and Hardik pandyas of the world to world class coaching staff.....it all seems pointless.

tweaker Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Sandeep Sharma is the only bowler who has impressed this year.Pawan Suyal got 4 matches but he was not able to take any wickets.Rishi Dhawan Shardul Thakur were dissapointment.Out of nowhere Hardik Pandya looks interesting,but he is far from a finish product.He can bowl at 135 kmph & is hard hitter,but should improve his game alltogether
BeautifulGame Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Anureet Singh has been pretty good for Punjab .Bowls yorkers regularly at good pace . Also H Patel for RCB has been very good . But yeah Sandeep has been by miles the best prospect out there

For example Anirudh bowled that leg stump yorker (which i found it interesting) with pin point precision. Worked. But any error there he would be killed. Lot of bowlers got attention because they were able to bowl a length that was unhittable. Sandy is one guy who was able to bowl peaches more often.
express bowling Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Talking about young bowlers who are either uncapped or not regulars in team India Among pacers ...Suyal has looked decent. Combined decent accuracy with lively pace. Among medium pacers...Sandeep Sharma has been the standout swing bowler. He is the most talented medium pacer in the country now. Among spinners... no new or out of favour young spinner has spun the ball consistently. That has been a big disappointment for me.
