First and foremost In heaven we will be a different creation, What that creation is we don't know it is not mentioned in the Quran. people will get whatever they desire in heaven as stated in the Quran. There were no people before Adam. God Is uncreated Otherwise he would not be God. Good and bad deeds are recorded by the angles, everything is recorded by them and will be presented in front of us on Judgement day. Who defines good and evil That is a philosophical question that I don't have the knowledge about, but if I find something by the scholars on this I will post it in this thread.
And now it's time for your pills

If you are just here to bash then any attempts to make sense to you will be futile.

Somebody posted some great verse above. Such a deep meaning to it. But part of it is definitely tampered with. There are so many things in the book that are amazing if we understand the depth of it. Copied from somewhere ... The following is stated in a hadith, “He who knows himself knows his Lord.” A prominent Islamic philosopher says: “O man who considers himself a human! Read self…” In this sense, one has to try to get to know himself. Starting from ourselves, we are going to reach Him! Now how many of us really know ourselves? Pretty much essence is hidden in just 1 highlighted sentence. So even before we go on to interpret the book, we must know self. Now go figure out what exactly that means. Without offending anyone, I would say reading books is pointless if we don't know how to interpret it. And by that I don't mean mentally perceive it. So seriously try to find self first.

It's strange how human mind can create something and then force us to believe that we are the creation of something we ourselves created. Amazing.

Because most of the people in those societies are atheists technically. Islam is the most evolved mainstream religion in the world. That was the sole reason for its popularity in the early age. And religion has not affected the country but those who have misinterpreted the religion have. And i say kill those bastards, every time.
okay.

Bro, plz read again carefully what i wrote.
"Indeed it talks about fair skin, Big breasts and Big Eyes, in Interpretation. but as a whole. you can have whatever you wish or even think .... means if you Imagine a dark skin Virgin In Heaven , do u think you wont get it in Heaven becoz they are dark skin ? You will. Becoz you are in Heaven. if not thn what the purpose of Heaven if you dont get what you wish or think? and about Racisim. thre are many Muslims whos are African, and who do good deeds and pray. so do u think they wont get in Heaven becoz they are Black ? So its mean Quran is just giving you Signs about Heaven. to know the details only about Heaven you need to read the other books of known Islamic scholars (not the sites who pretend to be Islamic and giving you wrong Interpretation)" . Heres the verse translation/Interpretation : Chapter 78, verse 33 of the Quran says that the houris would be large-breasted. This adjectivation, however, has not been translated into all non-Arabic versions of the Quran. "Ibn Kathir, in his tafsir, writes that the adjective contained in said verse "means 'round breasts'." He goes on as to state that it is "meant by this that the breasts of these girls will be fully rounded and not sagging, because they will be virgins, equal in age." "Abdullah Yusuf Ali, on the other hand, translates said adjective into English simply as "voluptuous"which refers to sensual (or physical) attributes, though not necessarily breasts" 78:33, Sahih International; "And full-breasted [companions] of equal age" The houri; "A houri is a most beautiful young woman with a transparent body. The marrow of her bones is visible like the interior lines of pearls and rubies. She looks like red wine in a white glass. She is of white color, and free from the routine physical disabilities of an ordinary woman such as menstruation, menopause, urinal and offal discharge, child bearing and the related pollution. A houri is a girl of tender age, having large breasts which are round (pointed), and not inclined to dangle. Houris dwell in palaces of splendid surroundings. —Al-Tirmidhi, Jami` at-Tirmidhi" Now you can read some verses of the Holy Quran mentioning the attributes of Houris (Hoor al-ayn/Hurs): “And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes; (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved.” [sura As-Sâffât (37):40-48] “And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages.” [sura Sâd (38):52] “So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes.” [sura Ad-Dukhân (44):51-55] “They will recline (with ease) on thrones arranged in ranks. And We shall marry them to Houris (female, fair ones) with wide lovely eyes.” [sura At-Tûr (52):20] “Wherein both (gardens) will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral.” [sura Ar-Rahmân (55):56-58] “Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; …Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; …Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them.” [sura Ar-Rahmân (55):70,72,74] “And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), Like unto preserved pearls.” [sura Al-Wâqi’ah (56):22-23] Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. And made them virgins; Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. [sura Al-Wâqi’ah (56):37-40] And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; [sura An-Naba’ (78):33] Chapter (78) sūrat l-naba (The Great News) "Sahih International: And full-breasted [companions] of equal age Pickthall: And voluptuous women of equal age; Yusuf Ali: And voluptuous women of equal age; Shakir: And voluptuous women of equal age; Muhammad Sarwar: maidens with pears-shaped breasts who are of equal age (to their spouses) Mohsin Khan: And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; Arberry: and maidens with swelling breasts, like of age," and, "Surat An-Naba' 78:33 وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَاباً Sahih International And full-breasted [companions] of equal age Muhsin Khan And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; Pickthall And voluptuous women of equal age; Yusuf Ali And voluptuous women of equal age; Shakir And voluptuous women of equal age; Dr. Ghali And youthful virgins, like of age,"

+1 :--D God forbid, no one is misrepresenting Islam here, we all are students, not scholars. when we talked about 72 virgins thn thre is no mention in the Quran, we were talking about the Quran. now you are talking about the Hadith, After Quran, Indeed we take Guidance from Hadith, we all muslims do, thre are the Six books about the Collection of Hadith, al-Bukhari ( included 7275 hadiths Muslim b. al-Hajjaj ( included 9211110. Abu Da'ud al-Tirmidhi al-Nasa'i Ibn Maja Other than Six Books, Muwatta of Imam Malik Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal Sunan Al-Bayhaqi Sunan Al-Darimi An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith. and about 72 Virgins, "The smallest reward for the people of Heaven is an abode where there are eighty thousand servants and seventy two wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine and ruby, as wide as the distance from [Damascus] to San'a. —Al-Tirmidhi, The Features of Heaven as described by the Messenger of Allah (This hadith has a weak chain of narrators) thats the detail answer of your question. and God knows best.

Shiva ji there is nothing WTH about it. Its your ignorance which should be WTH-ed about. You have no idea about the authentication of hadith and then you move forward and claim that Hadith to be authentic which actually has a weak chain of narrators (isnad) and therefore not authentic.

Within their own family otherwise the human race would not have survived. That is what I mean by different messengers for different times, what was allowed than is not allowed now as New messengers came with new Revelations and teachings.

Ah OK. I though all three generations were done by 200AH. So when he says Gharib, He means strange. ie. He cant undertsand or does he says its not true? You see there is a big difference

The third generations ends around 240-260 AH, It basically means it is not a core part of our theology he neither denies it or confirms it.

I have no idea about hadith or anything to do with Islam. I just read the reply he posted which says people can choose different varieties of virgins and with different features like big butts, boobs etc. Obviously, any sane person would laugh at reading that god can offer such stuff. Lol. Seriously, we need less god, and encourage rational thoughts.
