He has supplied forged certificates to BCD to become a practising memeber. Thats the issue. And offcourse as soon as you ask for a lwyer, You are genrally guilty. BTW dont trust media when it comes to AAP.

Only other occasion is if charges against you look like a thick plot, you ask a lawyer. Else you co-operate with investigation. He may have misplaced his certs while shifting to his ministerial house but BCD would allready have copies of certs he would have provided with his application. Or is he asking for more time so that BCD can misplace the certs?

The Bar council issues a certificate of practice after registration which the advocates frame it and hang them on the walls in their office to public. which is why i want to know, has this guy actually practised the law in the courts? What is his win loss ratio if he has indeed practised it. Looking at his profile, he jumped from the Congress after losing in 2013 and was a long time Congress member.

Chances are very low that he actually registered in bar council, let alone practicing as a lawyer. This is why bar council of delhi gave a petition to HC as soon as he submitted his candidate affidavit. Delhi HC issued notice to Tomar back in february. Link

While AAP runs only a state govt with limited powers so AAP should behave.

In this case, police could have taken complaint and started investigation. There was no need to make arrest. It is not plausible that Delhi police would have taken that decision itself without taking direction from home ministry whom it works for. There seems to clear campaign by BJP govt to paralise AAP govt.What heinous crime has Subroto Roy committed that he has been behind bars with the Supreme Court denying him bail for over a year now?

Imagine if you were operated on by a doctor who faked all his degrees and end up being permanently disabled because of his ineptitude, wouldn't you want the doctor to be arrested? What is wrong in arresting a person who fakes degrees for illicit gains? Now you guys want to make Delhi the capital of fake degrees as well?? Kabhi to apne dimaag se socha karo.
