The position is that ZC is in constant contact with both the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Ten Sports, over issues which should be resolved before the tour," a Zimbabwe Cricket release stated. "Both the ZC chairman, Mr Wilson Manase, and the chief executive officer, Mr Wilfred Mukondiwa, will be discussing these issues with their BCCI counterparts on the sidelines of the 2015 International Cricket Council annual conference, which is in Bridgetown, Barbados, from the 22nd to the 26th of this month," the release added. "Cricket is a national sport and ZC enjoys a cordial relationship with all relevant government offices so the acquisition of visas is not an issue. The substantive issues are what we will discuss in Barbados," the ZC chairman said.

We just have to accept that IPL is here to stay. Players enjoy it as they earn millions just for playing T20 games under no pressure, people enjoy watching it during evenings, sponsors are happy - its a hugely successful revenue model for everyone. You would be absolutely mad to consider scrapping IPL just because it may affect the national side and its performance. That's just not how things work.

BCCI is so greedy that they make the whole squad play every series. Aus, Eng boards gives the players a break and keeps them fresh by rotating them. Their schedule is much better organized.
