vishalvirsingh Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Bhuvi can be more than handful in England' date=' NZ[/quote'] Test pacer is one who can bowl 135+ for 18 overs in a day...Bhuvi bowls 133k with Good swing in first 7 overs.. after that he is a pure defensive 7th stump bowler who bowls 125 k. if he doesn't swing big he becomes zero in tests. he is as fast as binny in his second spell. Do we need a defensive bowler in tests...no. unless he is in his best swinging form he cannot be played ahead of varun umesh shammi for sure. Ishan't has bounce and ishwar has swing n pace. Bhuvi won us the odi yesterday. .my salutations for that . but I agree to dhoni n KohlI that he is not a test pacer.

Shammi is without doubt a cool bowler with tricks pace n swing and india has missed him in last 2 months. he could have caused serious damage to Bangladesh n changed the series result. Umesh is wicket taking n is to be backed. Mohit proved his odi mettle in ipl n world cup so is bound to suceed in odi but he is slowing down n I m concerned. He has a good slower one. Bhuvi has got his yorker going n that wud mean he will stay in odi. can't be sure about sandeep but if he is 130+ then he is bound to suceed as he is a genuine swing bowler.

Zimbabwe batters will definitely find sandeep a tuf nut atleast in his first 5 overs. hope sandeep plays tomorrow. hope the speed guns work tommorow.

If he can't even work on his fitness, add some weight, and not even touch 135s in Odis, he shouldn't be playing for India, period. It is just too easy to smack him if he bowls at that pace. Fortunately for tests, we have kohli who values pace bowling. Hence, I don't think bhuvi will play for India in the next two years where we will play in home conditions.

Sandeep swings more than Bhuvi but he is inconsistent and low on pace.....And don't forget his height.......unless he improves his pace big time, i can't see him successful in international cricket
