I get a feeling if Rohit can contribute with the ball Kohli will drop Binny and claim Rohit is an allrounder. Not joking but Rohit had a decent record as a bowler in his Harris Shield days. Can be useless in spinning decks. Considering his batting will always be patchy he might want to focus on his bowling by sending down 10-15 overs on a regular basis. Nohit can't even be labelled as a part-timer... his Test bowling avg is around 100 or something. Hasn't bowled much in FC, ODIs, etc in recent times.

It may take the field, but it is gonna be full of jokers - Binny, Ojha; Nohit will also likely fail. I would prefer the first 2 names not to be in the 3rd test.

His batting is better than Ishant but not as good as Ashwin (despite his recent decline), Mishra and BK. Bowling in 1st innings was good, but this is a man who has a Test SR of 300.

Apart from that 50 in Eng, Binny hasn't done anything else of import - his Test avg is slightly lower than Mishra's if I remember correctly. Perhaps they are of roughly equal calibre... but Binny is def behind BK and Ashwin and Saha.

The guy is of Dhonis age and since we play mostly play at home in the next 2 years I see no reason even if he's done well in one test . He's best is going to be average , we are just wasting time with him

Rogers started off quite slowly... for a long time, he was averaging in mid 30s and only lately bumped it into low 40s. Saha's FC record is amongst the best for keepers in the country - silghtly better than Samson, Karthik, Pappu Patel, N. Ojha and others.

Lucky Saha had his debut as Rohit had an injury on the morning of the day he was supposed to make his Test debut and then had to wait for his chance again. Now people are claiming Rohit is 'lucky'? Even with Vijay and Saha - he was in this Test and contributed 79+34 = 113 runs ( sacrificing his wicket in 2nd innings for the team's cause when he could have easily played the tuk tuk game and remained NO ). Why would he be 'happy'? He was a certainty for 3rd Test anyway :dontknow: Will change my opinion if he delivers the same results in next test too..(first innings runs) Did you think about Pujara one wee bit? I dont support this theory of giving an extended run to someone who looks easy on the eye.. Far too many chances at the cost of someone else & India's losses ps: Nohit will never finish his career above an average of 50 in tests.. can bet my house on it
