Hope they go well :winky: Hope he shows the discipline shown by Pujara, Kohli later Rahane. Even Dhoni left the ball well, Vijay left the ball well. Dhawan was also leaving it okay until he fell for the trap. Rohit is the only one who allowed himself to be sucked into that wide line.

Yes. Much better than technique than the ODIs but ended up playing a lazy, indiscipline shot.

Batsman have to wary of philander as after seeing off morel and steyn ,U relax against philander less pace which proved to be downfall of rohit.They have to milk philander and other bowlers sure he is not in same class as morkel or steyn but be bit respectful.

When the ball is that wide and if you want to play a shot move your frontfoot as close as to the pitch of the ball like Dravid. Dravid also plays such wide deliveries but his front foot would be very close to the ball . In Rohit's case he just tries to extend himself without moving the front foot.

Apart from that he looked good. It ticked me off because it was pretty mediocre spell by Philander. He was hardly threatening. You can see him off even in sleep. Basically a gift. Kohli also did the same. But he did after scoring 119 runs. So there lies the difference.

That holds true if good ball gets you Throwing away at start against bad ball is worse
