Rohit's innings came in a losing cause. If he had carried on till the end like ABDV and won India the game I would admit Rohit innings was better

 

ABDV innings was better today and Rohit will never come close to ABDv as a batsmen.

Rohit's innings was far better than de Villiers. de Villiers came in late so he could bat till the end while Rohit is an opener. Saying that de Villiers' innings is better (despite scoring significantly less runs against a weaker bowling attack) just because he stayed not out is wrong.
