EnterTheVoid Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I don't have any kids ... well, none that I am aware of.
coffee_rules Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 me and my wife are very keen to adopt..eventhough my parents and in-laws are not fond of this idea.. people still have this stigma attached to adoption.. hopefully more people will be open to adopt in the future..I think parents who are adopting need to be convinced first about convincing others as well. My friends faced a lot of flak from their relatives and parents , but they were very firm and were able to convince all. It is very important for the kid to not face any issue from others, usually parents and siblings are never going to be an issue if handled well. If you live in USA, it will be difficult to adopt an Indian baby, there are some red-tape issues from USA authorities that you might face. It is easier to adopt a Chinese or African kid in USA, than India. They are not used to the numbers and immigration becomes a issue for them.
