What is the point of playing JAMODIs in Australia?

I see no point of going all the way to Australia to play a bunch of meaningless LOI games. It should have atleast couple of test matches or a tri series tournament. Obviously India will loose and ICF kids will goo gaga again how rubbish Dhoni is as a skipper, please remove him etc.

Kohli is getting all easy series in India on square turners and MSD is getting all tough overseas tours

I would love Dhoni to rest in the upcoming Australia tour and allow Kohli to lead. That will give us a good picture how good a captain he is. Can he replicate what Dhoni did back in 2008?

Kohli's time will come soon when he will have to captain India on tougher overseas tours. Then we can compare. Meanwhile let's just enjoy Dhoni's brilliant playing 11 selections and captaincy. Time for Dhoni to unleash his ferocious trundlers on poor unsuspecting Aussies.
