Laaloo
^^ Ricky Ponting (!?) feels Ishant Sharma will not play! But Kumble is keeping options open between IS and HS. Link to comment
fineleg
thats exactly what i am afraid off. Bhajji is must to nullify ponting... Bhajji aint nullifying nobody. Ponting will take HS to cleaners at MCG if he plays. Link to comment
Guest Hiten.
lets see how Ishant flares Link to comment
Cricketics
so pathan is not playing.. i thought our pace attack would be - pathan, zaheer and r.p anwayz, hope Ishant does something good for India come on ISHANT SHARMA Link to comment
Chaos
its a shame that ponting is torturing poor bowling attacks like this. Link to comment
apocalypse
why is pathan not playing Link to comment
fineleg
why is pathan not playing I wish Irfan Pathan plays instead of Ishant Sharma. All left armers is a drawback. But still, IKP should play. He has the experience. A rookie like Ishant Sharma against Aus is a very very risky move. Link to comment
guju24
seems like condition might support ishant...bez of his height chances for good bounce and good pace...it will be good contest for him...good luck ISHANT Link to comment
ludhianvi
they opted for a right hander its seems. All pace attack of lefties prolly went against pathan. But we do weaken our batting without pathan. Link to comment

But we do weaken our batting without pathan. Yaar, it's not so bad right now, that we have to rely on Pathan to "strengthen" our batting. I'm supportive of IS instead of HS.. Aussie pitches are rarely two spinner (forgive me Kumble for calling you one) pitches. Link to comment
MundaPakistani
good selection- hope he does well. Link to comment
HouMac
Another good decision. Harbhajan stopped being a Test level bowler a long time ago. Might as well go with the inexperienced but promising Ishant! Link to comment
flamy
is the 12th man allowed to bowl nowadays? :hatsoff: Link to comment
Chaos
is the 12th man allowed to bowl nowadays? :hatsoff: i hope so :(, so we can send bhajji in for a rest. Link to comment
Laaloo
according to shastri They would have been tempted to go in with the extra seamer, but I thought they did the right thing by going in with their four best bowlers who could take 20 wickets. harbhajan is our 4th best bowler even ahead of pathan :-S Link to comment
